So come on - what’s wrong with Unreal Tournament 3 (PS3)?

Ok so I’m really interested in getting this game on PS3. I got to play it recently and liked what I saw.
However, whenever I look at the sales charts for PS3 Unreal Tournament is nowhere. This is making me cautious about the game. I’m worried that there won’t be many people to play with online and I don’t want to shell out for the game only for it be gathering dust on my shelf in a few weeks time.
I know the 360 version is out soon, but I really wanted the PS3 version due to it’s ability to have mods.
Anyone out there got any opinions that could help me out on this? Do you own and love UT3 on PS3? Should I pick it up?
